What services does the clinic provide? →The clinic provides diagnostic assessments in phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, spelling, and reading comprehension in order to evaluate students’ reading abilities. Based on the results of the assessments, customized one-on-one reading tutoring is provided to students. The reading tutoring will be one hour long and include a variety of instructional activities and literacy games. What is the cost of the clinic services? →The cost of tutoring is $30 for 10 sessions. Who is qualified for the clinic services? →Any students from K-12 from the Tulsa-Broken Arrow area who want to receive reading tutoring to promote or enhance their literacy skills are welcome. Do parents receive a report of their child’s progress? →A written report can be sent to the student’s parents or school upon authorization by the parents.
